Hibiscus Haven is a sanctuary where healing begins for survivors of human trafficking.
Nestled in the heart of Hawaii, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and restore the lives of those who have been exploited.
This is a place of peace and refuge.
Hibiscus Haven was established in response to the urgent need for a safe haven for Native women affected by human trafficking. Understanding the unique challenges faced by these individuals, we are committed to providing a nurturing environment that fosters healing and empowerment.
Our founders, Michael and Monica, have dedicated over three decades to ministry, with Monica bringing her personal experience as a survivor and her expertise as a licensed mental health therapist to guide our mission. Together, we strive to create a community where love, grace, and support lead to true restoration.
Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered haven where survivors can reclaim their worth and rebuild their lives.
By offering a holistic approach that includes spiritual guidance, therapeutic support, and community resources, we empower survivors to transition from crisis to thriving futures.
Our vision is to lead to the realization that God has distinctly created every individual special. Part of the journey of success is found in the realization that God does not waste anything, including our brokenness.
God‘s design is for us to do life together; it has never been good for anyone to be alone alone. We believe that we are called to be in community and fellowship with one another; it is not just me and Jesus, you also are a vital part of this ministry.
Faith: We believe in the transformative power of faith in Jesus Christ.
Compassion: We provide empathetic and individualized care.
Community: We foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
Empowerment: We equip survivors with the tools to rebuild their lives.
Dignity: We honor the innate worth of every individual.
At Hibiscus Haven, our team is the heartbeat of our mission. Comprised of dedicated professionals and volunteers, we work together to create a safe and nurturing environment for our girls.
